How to get to UMIT

By Car:
Starting from freeway A12 (Inntalautobahn): Exit "Hall Mitte" pass the Inn bridge, direction city center, at the first traffic light drive straight ahead, cross the roundabout traffic straight ahead, drive along the parkway, cross the second roundabout traffic straight ahead and drive along the street, when you pass Hall’s hospital (Bezirkskrankenhaus) at the right hand side you can already see the Eduard Wallnoefer-Center 1, where UMIT is situated. The Eduard Wallnoefer-Center is a modern building with a flat roof. The front is covered with black sunshields.


 
By airplane:
You can either take a taxi to Hall i. Tirol which is about 15 km from Innsbruck or you can go by bus

 
Line F: Direction "Wohnheim Saggen/Schutzengelkirche" at the main station ("Hauptbahnhof Innsbruck") you have to change the bus. Take
Line 4 or S : You will find more detailed information below.


 
By train:
Hall in Tirol has a train station but only few trains stop here. Therefore we recommend travelling to Innsbruck, Main Station. From here you can either take a taxi or go by public transport. Hall is about 15 km from Innsbruck.


 
Public transport: Innsbruck Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) – Hall i. Tirol:
The bus terminal is situated opposite the main entrance.

 
Line 4: Direction "Hall in Tirol". Get off the bus at "Milserstrasse" in Hall. From here it is a 3 minute walk in driving direction to UMIT.
 
Alternatively take
 
Line S: Direction "Hall in Tirol" Bus stop "Krankenhaus" (hospital) At the left hand side in driving direction you can already see the Eduard Wallnoefer-Center where UMIT is situated.
